Travel

Trips are by real distance: Chicago to Detroit is a short hop, Los Angeles to New York the long haul. The train takes 02:13 for the short hop and 08:51 coast to coast, with the fare growing by the mile. An equipped car is free and goes by its top speed: a fast car beats the train, a jalopy loses to it; a comfier car stops less; and there is a small breakdown chance. A counterfeit travel ticket is an instant hop inside one region (West, Central, East); a golden ticket goes anywhere. Changing city inside a state is free but takes 30 seconds. Where you stand decides which businesses, prices, casinos, jail lists and whack targets you can see.
